Acer XDS Extreme Driver

I’ve owned most of the name brand, high dollar drivers. They have nothing over the Acer XDS except cost and notoriety. The look, feel, distance and accuracy of the XDS is second to none. I really like the hidden additional heel weight. I’ve never been a slicer, but as I’ve gotten older, I just don’t draw the ball as easily as I used too. Well, now I can. And without the disconcerting look of an offset driver.

I actually bought this driver based on one of the reviews on here. I ordered it with the acer senior flex shafts and the jumbo grip. My biggest recommendation is to spend the small amount of money on the spine alignment. This driver has restored my confidence when using a driver. I am back up to hitting in the 240 to 250 carry range. It has a nice clean sound when hitting the golf ball. With the shorter shaft I purchased I am hitting the sweet spot almost automatically. Even on shots that are a little off it still feels like I don't even. Make contact with the ball. It is by far the best driver I have ever owned and I plan on having it in the bag for many years. You cannot convince me that the bug name and hefty price tag drivers are any better.

Got one of these for a customer last week, paired it with an iDrive shaft and my customer is VERY happy! Will not hesitate to purchase in the future!

Combined with the right shaft it's very easy to work the ball and get respectable distance. The trajectory is higher than average too. Good all around club at a value price point.

Great looking and performance

The driver was expertly assembled as ordered. I am anxious to get to the driving range with this driver. I have only played one round with the driver but after the first couple holes, I was getting about 200 yards. That’s pretty good for an 88 year old with slow swing speed. This is a great looking driver.

I have played two rounds with the XDS driver, velocity shaft (stiff and cut 1" shorter) and I love it! Hitting it straight down the middle of the fairway at 230 yards consistently with medium effort.

Hitting past my Taylormade M2 driver. Has a nice sound also.

Excellent driver. Nice sweet spot. Larger then my previous driver. You know when you hit a good drive By the sound , before you look up to see the flight. Highly recommend

Was looking for a driver to replace my old one that is no longer available. This one fit with similar characteristics and under $100. Recommended for value and plays well (hitting 230-260 yards for me...).
