Acer XDS Fairway Wood
The XDS Fairway Wood has one job: turning a slice into a draw. Heel weighting that grows with loft helps the face close through impact, while a flexing face keeps ball speed high on low or toe strikes and mishits.

Description
The Acer XDS fairway woods are built to help you square the face up. Weight sits inside the heel and increases as the lofts get higher, which encourages the face to close through impact and produces a draw-bias ball flight — aimed squarely at the miss to the right that most golfers fight.
The face wraps around the front of the head and varies in thickness across the hitting area, so it flexes more where it needs to and sends the ball off faster, including on the strikes you catch low or out toward the toe. The heads are weighted to stay stable through impact and to pair properly with today's ultralight shafts, so a finished club still builds to a normal swing weight instead of feeling light and unstable in your hands.
Lofts run from a 3 wood at 15° all the way through a 15 wood at 37°, which is very helpful if you prefer a high-lofted wood over a hybrid or long iron.
ATTACK THE COURSE
The Acer XDS Fairway Woods are offered with a multitude of lofts. This provides you with options to attack the course from nearly anywhere on the course. This modern design features a wrap-around face construction and an ultra-thin, variable thickness face to boost ball speed and distance.

GREATER ACCURACY
A high lofted fairway wood is more forgiving than a hybrid or iron. Why? It has a wider footprint, so the weight is more evenly distributed around the perimeter.

HIGHER LAUNCHING
When you need to hit the ball higher and land the ball softly on the green a high lofted fairway wood is a better option than a hybrid or long iron. They possess a thinner, softer tipped shaft combined with a low center of gravity to launch the ball high.

SHANK-PROOF DESIGN
Golfers who tend to shank (or hit in toward or on the hosel) will find high-lofted fairway woods to be extremely helpful. These clubs have a face-forward design and are essentially shank-proof.
