Acer XV Driver

Acer built the XV to work for players at every level, pairing a classic look with real engineering. A tuned sole boosts ball speed, while a titanium crown repositions weight low and back for a steadier launch.

The Acer XV is a versatile, technologically enhanced driver built to suit players at every skill level, and the classic look hides a lot of engineering underneath it. A Power Chamber sole improves energy transfer at impact, so more of what you put into the swing shows up in ball speed. A Gravity Port lets us fine-tune swingweight around your shaft weight, balance point, and build length, so the club feels right for your swing specifically rather than off a generic chart.

The crown is CNC-milled titanium — the lightest all-titanium crown we build with — which frees up weight to be repositioned low and back in the head for a higher, more stable launch and better forgiveness on off-center hits.

ULTIMATE PERFORMANCE

The Acer XV is a versatile and technologically enhanced driver series available in a variety of lofts to suit players of all skill levels.

LIGHT AS A FEATHER

The Acer XV drivers feature our lightest all-titanium crown ever. It goes through a CNC milling process to remove excessive reduce weight than can be repositioned strategically within the head for optimal performance.

Customers praised this driver for excellent quality and value, with many noting it compares favorably to premium brands at a fraction of the cost. Shoppers highlighted added distance, solid feel, and "perfect finish." Some concerns include a high-pitched sound and limited workability. One customer mentioned slicing issues and reduced distance.

  • This head has the best sound and feel of any head made in recent years.
  • First driver I have been able to hit confidently and consistently. Great feel and great weight.
  • Added 20 yards plus to my drives. Not awful for a 78 year old with a 15.1 index.

Great Driver at excellent price.

I bought an Acer Thriver which works well off the deck for long par fours. I got the Acer XV Driver 10.5 degree with same upgraded shaft as the Thriver which has added 20 yards plus to my drives. I now have the ability to reach 400 yard par fours in two. Not awful for a 78 year old with a 15.1 index.

Good Driver Head

A great driver head without spending $500 plus. Put the right shaft in it and off you go.

Quality and Value

For the price, this is a good driver head. Obviously, pairing with the right shaft is just as important. But it sounds solid when struck. My only complaint is looking top-down at address. The "Acer" alignment logo on the top of the driver head. I think it cheapens the look of this quality head. I'd prefer a dot or arrow or really anything else.

This is the first driver I have been able to hit confidently and consistently. Great feel and great weight.

lower but farther

It's a nice driver head for me because the 10.5 degree Acer xv draw head produced high flying draws; now my drives are lower but longer fades.

Solid Driver, Solid Value

Top quality. I know because I've played all the national brands. Be sure to choose a quality shaft that fits your game...very important... don't skimp on the shaft! Swing easy, hit the ball on the sweet spot and watch them fly!

Driver plays well but sounds cheap

The head plays well and gives a good flight with each hit. However when the head strikes the ball it gives a high pitched ping sound that I do not like.

Best Driver nobody has heard of...YET

This head has the best sound and feel of any head made in recent years. Originally bought one for my 12 year old for the versatility of weight, high loft and value. I of course had to take a couple swipes with her driver and was amazed by the feel from the pop the head had. I was playing a Ping G30 at the time which is a super club but the XV just left it obsolete. Beat it in every way. Of course you've got to get the shaft right but if you know of one that works you owe it to yourself to try the XV. Get the extra weights and dial it in.
