The standard Acer XV is the middle child of the XV family, and it's built to fit the broadest range of golfers rather than a narrow slice of them. There's ample offset to help the face square up at impact, so shots start on line more often instead of leaking out to the right.

A deep undercut cavity pushes weight to the outside edges of the head, and enhanced heel-toe weighting means the ball still gets going when you catch one toward the toe or the heel. The longer blade length gives you more room to miss without losing much. It adds up to an iron that's forgiving without looking bulky behind the ball, and it's a set most golfers can pick up and play well.

If the long irons are the weak spot, swap them for hybrids when you configure your build. The XV is made for golfers who want real forgiveness and a clean look at address, without needing a set built around one specific problem.

The Acer XV irons available in 3 models: The XV standard version features ample offset to help player square up the face at impact. The HT has nearly a 30% wider sole and offer more forgiveness. The XV Pro has a more compact design, and reduced offset favored by better players.

Very nice looking irons that are very forgiving and easy to hit. Easy to get in the air!

good looking ,quality clubs at a very reasonable cost

Mated these heads with lightweight steel shafts in A flex for "seasoned" i.e. senior golfer. He remarked that they look and feel as good as any OEM clubs he has owned at a fraction of the cost.

Had the lofts checked for the 7 iron to GW and they were all within 0.5 degree of specification. Excellent quality with respect to lofts.

Got the clubs, have since played 3 rounds with them and they are comparable to my irons that are more expensive for 1/8th the price. They look great and play well. I will be ordering more in the future for my friends.

Easy to hit

I have owned TM Burners and Adams irons, but these are the most forgiving irons I have played yet. They feel good, look good, and sound great when you hit them just right. Very impressed with the Acer brand! If you are looking for forgiveness and value you just found it.

A+ product & service

Product wise these are the best irons I have ever used. The last two sets of irons I have had were Taylormade and then Adams. I not only hit these longer, but more accurate as well. The quality is just as good hardware wise and whoever assembled the irons did a fantastic job! The ordering process simple and was playing with them within a week.
