Description
On tight holes, a driver or fairway wood can bring more trouble into play than it's worth, and a traditional 2 or 3-iron is hard to launch consistently. The Dynacraft Driving Iron is built for that tee shot: an iron-shaped head you can aim and control, with a lower, more penetrating flight than a comparable lofted fairway wood.
The head is hollow, which moves weight low and toward the back for more perimeter weighting than a solid long iron carries. The face is thin, vacuum heat-treated, forged 17-4 stainless steel with variable thickness, designed to keep ball speed up across the face. It's offered in 18° (#2) and 21° (#3) lofts.
The Dynacraft Driving Iron is mainly a control club off the tee, but it also works for long approach shots from a good lie in the fairway. It suits golfers who want the look and workability of an iron with more help getting the ball airborne.
