The Felon 2.4 is non-conforming driver which is built without regard for the rulebook. The face is 2.4mm thin edge to edge — thinner than anything the USGA would allow — and it's made from ultra-strong beta titanium. The result is a trampoline effect that a conforming driver simply can't produce, and you'll feel it the moment you catch one.

The head is 485cc, larger than the 460cc limit, which means more club behind the ball and more room to miss. The manufacturer's own testing puts the gain at roughly 10% on strikes away from the center and up to 15% on shots caught flush. The face wraps around the front edge for speed on mishits, the shape is built to cut through the air, and the face sits a degree closed to help square things up if you tend to leak drives right.

This is a driver for casual rounds, recreational long-drive contests, and anyone who wants to see a number they haven't seen before. It is not legal for tournament play — the size and the spring effect both make it illegal by USGA standards. Available in 9.5°, 10.5° and 12° lofts.

GREAT CLUB

I have owned a Felon driver for a couple of years and it has done better than any brand name I have owned. I just cracked the face on my club, so I'm buying another to replace it.

LOVE THE FELON DRIVER!

I bought this "illegal driver" about 2 years ago and put it in my golf bag. Well, my old driver finally wore out so I placed it in my bag and played 18 holes. It hit draws down the middle of the fairway 30 to 40 yards past my golf buddies, and one of them is a 10 handicap who hits drives about 230 to 250 yards. I am 74. I wish I could use the Felon driver in my Friday pro-ams. It is awesome!

Juggernaut Driver

After shanking my initial drive with the new driver, I quickly adapted to it and was burning the fairways with it. The driver seems very forgiving and I know I only played 18 holes with it, but I'm a fan!

EMBARRASS YOUR FRIENDS WITH THE $500 DRIVERS

I'm a pretty poor golfer (I've yet to break 100). But I can run into a drive here and there. I just upgraded my very old equipment with the FELON 10.5 driver. Just played a round with buddies who are good (not great) golfers swinging $500 drivers. I out drove them both on most holes. I'm pretty sure they were slightly embarrassed. This driver is long and forgiving.

A DRIVER AS GOOD AS ANY COMMERCIAL PRODUCT ON THE MARKET!

I hit it better than any driver I've hit recently. I prefer the 9.5 degree loft for a lower trajectory needed on windy days. The driver puts a lot of forward spin on the ball which gives it a lot of roll. I am very happy with this driver and hope to keep it for a long time!

PRETTY DARN GOOD

I bought this driver about 2 months ago. I also have a TaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2.0 in my bag, which I bought used for $100 in great condition. I hit both clubs about equally. For each club the ball averages 270-280 yds. The difference is when you hit with the FELON it sounds like a bomb is going off. I love it because everybody turns to look and see what happened. I will say that I was quite impressed with the FELON as a budget driver. It is very impressive that it is basically equal with the TaylorMade. All in all, if you are on a budget this is a great driver for the cost. The sound really gets attention when you make good contact.
