The Heater X-880 irons are a compact, Tour-proven shape with built-in performance for elevated distance, forgiveness and feel. A thinner topline, reduced offset through the long irons and a shorter blade length present a clean, eye-pleasing address view, and this more compact players iron has no trouble keeping up with heavier heads on distance.

These heads are precision cast from 304 soft steel, a softer material than the 431 stainless used in most component heads, and the difference shows up the moment you catch one flush. Impact feels solid and buttery rather than hard, with the kind of sensation better players chase and remember. A drilled hollow channel filled with urethane dampening material takes the harshness out of the strike without deadening feedback, so the head still tells you exactly where you found the face. The narrow sole and tight leading edge keep it consistent through the turf.

The X-880 suits the player who cares as much about how an iron feels as how far it goes.

Decent clubhead, feels comparable to the P770

Got a set of these and now have 7 months of use. Heads are very nice looking at address, clean lines and fairly thin top line. As far as performance, they feel great, especially for the price and one of the players that hit them owns a set of TaylorMade P770 and had nothing but praise for the head and how it performs. My one complaint that I noticed after some range time the other day is that the toe plugs on all of the heads are now loose and about to come out, thankfully none have yet. So as for durability I’m not so convinced. Again no effect to performance and the heads are otherwise great, but didn’t expect to even have to keep an eye out for something like that. Overall a decent clubhead. Feel very comparable to the P770 it was made to be like. Great looking head.

These heads look and feel tremendous in hand, these are my first experience with clone type heads. I haven't yet had the chance (weather) to get to hit them. Hoping they play as good as they look and feel. Seem solid, and a great value for a set of iron heads.

This iron with the Stepless Steel shafts. These are fun clubs. They are just forgiving enough if not hit perfect. They are controllable with very predictable distances
