Heater ZZ-3 Zero Torque Putter

The Heater ZZ-3 uses a zero-torque design, which sets the shaft directly over the head's center of gravity instead of leaning it back the way most putters do. That alignment keeps the face from wanting to rotate open and closed through the stroke, so it tends to stay square without you having to time a release to make it happen.

The Dual Fangs push weight out to the perimeter of an already large mallet head, which raises resistance to twisting on strikes that miss the center. Combined with the zero-torque shaft placement, the face holds its line better than a traditional putter would on the same stroke, which shows up as fewer putts pushed or pulled off line.

This setup suits a straight-back, straight-through stroke or a very light arc — it feels different from a traditional putter, so it rewards golfers who don't rely on manually rotating the face closed.
