Juggernaut Max Full Face Wedge

As configured:
Sale price $49.99

The Juggernaut Max CB Full Face wedges are built to make the short game easier. The head is a cavity back rather than a traditional blade, which spreads weight out to the edges and makes it far more forgiving on the strikes you don't catch perfectly — the ones that usually come out short and leave you a longer putt than you deserved.

The toe is taller and the hitting surface is bigger, which matters most when you open the face for a flop or dig one out of deep rough or soft sand. Those shots are hit high on the toe more often than not, and the grooves run all the way across the face so there's something biting the ball wherever you happen to make contact. The face is laser engraved for extra friction on top of that, so shots check up on the green instead of releasing past the hole.

The sole is ground to work from a range of conditions rather than one specific turf type, and the black PVD finish looks sharp and cuts glare. These are for golfers who want more help and more spin from inside a hundred yards.

Great Addition to remainder of Juggernaut Set

Wedges perform as advertised and in my humble opinion, rival what you would find in Cleveland or Titleist Vokey brands. Worth investigating and playing.

Like these wedges

Everyone seems to like them, including myself. Get a much better spin on the ball with the full face. Only negative would be that the black is wearing off, but they look nice until they do.

Sweet Wedge Set

These perform! Spin, spin, spin! They are a great alternative to high-priced name-brand milled wedges.

Probably Deserves 4.8 Stars, Really Fun & Easy Wedge to Use!

I have used the full 3-wedge set in regulated competition and honestly pulled off some of the best shots under pressure that I have ever hit. These perform brilliantly, the gorgeous soles feel really "glide-y," and they simply make wedge play so much fun. Although mine showed up a bit tighter to spec than Nate's, the lie angles should be checked carefully. My only SUPER HONEST criticism is something completely obvious to anyone who has gamed clubs with a Black PVD finish, and that is that it scratches nearly immediately. I wish I could show you my Juggy-Max Wedges alongside my Adams DHY Pro Hybrids because I am a HUGE fan of the look of beat-to-bare-metal originally-black-finish clubs! Since my nitpicks did not knock it below a 4.5 stars in my eyes, I think combining both these reviews' scores to date deserves the 5 Stars. To my man at the helm of the design team: this was a really fantastic model release. Everyone on the fence should buy this club with confidence.

Unreal good

Sorry but after playing 3 rounds with these I have more to say. The cavity back and weight distribution is superior when it comes to all chips and pitches. Have you ever accidentally chipped it too low? Yes because your wedge is light and not weighted correctly. You virtually can't mess up a chip with these. My chip/pitching game increased tremendously. I chipped in 2 today (I'm a good golfer, played my whole life, never have done that). I only wish they made a 64 degree. Please try this wedge.

Really like the Full Face Grooves

This wedge is great for chipping around the greens...good spin and great feel. I've always been prone to hit my chip shots on the toe a little, and the full-face grooves work great on those toe miss hits. It also is a great club for those 50 yard approaches.

Bought the full set

I like the 60 so bought the 56 and 52. Standard cavity backs are way better than regular wedges. 1st day out with the 56 I stuck one to 3 feet from 118 out.

Quality

Solid wedge with no issues with dimensions. No reason to try to move 'work' a 40 to 90 yard shot, so I wanted cavity-back wedges. Not sure why this is rare rather than the standard.

Best Wedge Design In a Long Time

This is the best wedge design I have seen in a long time. Most wedges have too high of a bounce angle, but the bounce on these is nice and very workable, especially from a hard pan lie. They will get under the ball perfectly. The CG on these is right in the middle of the face as well. Plus, it is a beautiful looking wedge. The only issue is that the lie angles were pretty far off: the 52 loft/lie angles were 51/62.5, and the 60 loft/lie angles were 59/61.5. These are amazing wedges, but make sure the loft/lie angles are checked.
