SMT 3391 Irons
The SMT 3391 is built to make every club in the set easier to hit and longer. The face is exceptionally thin — between 2.3mm and 2.9mm depending on the club — which lets it flex at impact and send the ball off fast, right up against the speed limit the rules allow. Behind the face, two TPE inserts absorb the vibration a thin face would otherwise produce, so strikes feel solid and sound right instead of tinny.
Weight sits low in the head, which gets shots up in the air on a mid to high flight with enough spin to hold a green rather than run through the back of it. Two weights in the back of the head keep the club from twisting when you catch one toward the toe or heel, so the ball still starts on line. It adds up to an iron that goes farther, launches higher and flies straighter, without the harsh feel that usually comes with chasing distance.
Key Features:
- Designed For Game Improvement. Longer. Higher. Straighter.
- Multi-Material Construction Allows for Ultra-Thin & Multi-Thickness Face for Improved Ball Speed and Feel.
- Deep-Low Center of Gravity For Improved Playability and Launch Angle.
- Dual TPE Rear Inserts Helps to Reduce Unwanted Vibration & Improves Feel.
- Dual Rear Weights Enhance MOI and Helps Improve Accuracy.
- Brush Finish Reduces Unwanted Glare.
- Hybrids available to replace the 3 through 6 irons.
