SMT Durometer Wide Glide Wedge

As configured:
Sale price $39.99

The SMT Durometer Wide Glide wedge is built to make solid contact easy on every wedge shot you face. The sole is extra wide with added heel relief, which is exactly what you want out of the sand — it keeps the club from digging in and lets it glide through instead, so you come out of a bunker clean instead of chunking one into the lip.

The face is CNC milled, a manufacturing process that produces a more consistent, precise groove pattern than standard stamping. That translates to real spin control on the green, and the grooves conform to the Rules of Golf, so it's fully legal for tournament play.

The confidence-inspiring shape and multiple loft options make the Wide Glide a wedge you can trust for any short game shot, not just the ones you've already got dialed in.

Key Features:

  • Extra Wide Sole and Heel Relief Enhances Playability on All Short Game Shots
  • Very User-Friendly From the Sand
  • CNC Milling Enhances Spin
  • Multiple Loft Options
  • Stainless Steel Construction
  • Grooves Conform to the USGA Rules of Golf

Anti-chunk wedge

After some adjustment time, I am really liking this 55 deg wedge. I did have to move the ball farther back in my stance, but it is easier to hit than my old wedge. I find that it does glide through the swing without digging in and reduces chunking. There is a little more risk of blading the ball if you have to too far forward in your stance.

Great utility tool

This club takes the guess work out of sand shots. No more opening the face and hitting behind the ball. Set up like your normal pitch shot and swing, out it one! I also find this to be a good club from just off the green for chip shots with less roll out if you play it toe down to the front of your stance. From the sand it takes some getting used to understand distance control as you will more than likely catch it clean due to the glide of the large sole, but once you get that dialed in you will see you sand saves go up and scores go down.
