SMT Mini Driver
The SMT Mini Driver sits between a driver and a 3 wood, and it solves a problem a lot of golfers have without knowing there's an answer for it. At 310cc the head is closer to the size of a fairway wood than a 460cc driver. And built at a length of 43", rather than the 45-46" of a standard driver, it's a club you can swing away with and not worry about losing complete control of it.
The face wraps around the front edge and is made from beta titanium, so it flexes across a wide area and holds onto ball speed when contact isn't dead center. You give up some distance against a full driver, but far less than you'd expect, and you get back a club you can actually put in play.
The adjustable hosel allows you to change the loft, face angle and lie angle to suit your ball flight — standard, 1.5° open, 1.5° closed, or 1° upright. The heads come in 11.5° and 13.5°, which also makes this a real option off the deck on a long par 5. Flat black finish, headcover included.
